Freddy is a legend and made such a huge impact in my life. He was specifically chosen to be our Best Man because we couldn't give him a higher title for such a special day in our lives. He was also the godfather to our eldest daughter, Krystal, because we knew she would be in good hands if it came to having Freddy raise her if we couldn't. Freddy's door was always open to his friends and family whether he was there or not. I di t know how many keys he gave out to people, but the keycutter sure made a lot of money.
Fred made living in Gillam fun. Whenever he would go back to Winnipeg when he was on holidays or off for miles, the biggest talk of the town was "When's Freddy coming back?"
Some people, you just think will be around forever, because the alternative is too hard to consider.
