My dear friend John (since childhood) and all the Perry family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of beautiful Darlene. In common, we shared the many rewards of growing up in Transcona, attending Girl Guides, raising families while serving as RNs and thankfully, the good values and influence of the Perry Family.
Darlene’s wonderfully-written obituary has provided not only a history of her life, but also paths for those she left behind to honour her memory. My husband Greg and I would like to make a donation to Girl Guides of Canada in her honour.
