Obituary of STEPHEN BILIK
Stephen passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Eldest child of Walter and Katherine Bilik born on Wednesday, September 19, 1934.
He is survived by his four children: Deborah (Gordon) Ruddell, Byron Bilik, Carter (Sandie) Bilik, Alyce-May Sandford. His four granddaughters: Michelle (Nasser Awada) and Stacy Ruddell, Cassandra (Mike) Heathrow, Kathryn Sandford. Also, four great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister -in-law Pauline Loiselle and many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by: The mother of their children, May (Santavy) Bilik. His siblings, Edward and Dianne. Also, two infant grandsons.
Stephen was employed by Canadian Pacific Railway, The city of East Kildonan, St Benedict's Convent, and The University of Manitoba Power House. He loved volunteering at the Railway Museum on Main Street. He loved all his jobs and the people he worked with. Retirement was not for him so he also loved volunteering at the Midwestern Railway Museum on Main Street.
