SYLVIA MARIE VAJCSA Obituary

SYLVIA MARIE VAJCSA

November 12, 1970 – May 8, 2023

On may 8, 2023 God reached out his hands and needed Sylvia’s help and called her home. It is with the saddest of hearts Sylvia was given her wings and became an angel of God. Though she is not with us in body, her soul will forever live in our memories and hearts.

Sylvia is survived by her common law husband Gary Miles, her brother Frank Vajcsa, as well as Josh and Lisa and the whole Flat Out Transport family.

She was born in Winnipeg, MB to parents Frank and Marie Vajcsa. (Both deceased).

Sylvia belonged to the Hungarian Dance ensemble as a child and performed at Folklorama and later volunteered as a host for the Hungarian Pavilion. She loved to do ceramics and was very skilled in her creations.  She took great pride in her talent. She loved to bake and take her baking for her co-workers at Flat Out and the congregation at Crosspoint church for the Sunday services. Sylvia loved education and loved to learn, receiving several diplomas.

We would like to thank all the first responders who did everything they could to keep Sylvia with us.

A funeral and celebration of life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at a later date.  Prayers will be said by Pastor Shane Brothers.

Donations can be made in memory of Sylvia in her name to Star’s Air Ambulance, 155-West Hanger Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3Z1 or to the Crosspoint Community Church, 554 Marsden St, Winnipeg, MB R2K 2Z8.
