Obituary of MANFRED (FRED) FRITZ BOETTCHER

August 4, 1953 – April 13, 2023

Fred was born in Germany and emigrated to Canada in 1955. He grew up in a home in the north end on Luxton Avenue with his mother Anne (deceased), his father Art (deceased) and his brother Mike. He enjoyed playing hockey, baseball and golf.

Fred began his working career at CP Rail. He later worked for Manitoba’s EMO department during the flood of the century in 1997. His last job was with Canada Revenue Agency where he retired in October 2013.

Fred is survived by his son Rob, daughter Kelsey, brother Mike as well as other extended family.

No funeral as per final wishes. Cremation and spreading of ashes has taken place.
