Obituary of BORDEN SEMENCHUK

Peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023, Dad passed away at the age of 94 at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Bill (Nadine), Tom (Renee), and Ronald (Elizabeth).  He also leaves 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Bernadette, his parents Mary and Joseph, son Robert (Bobby) and his brother William, (Bill).

Dad was born November 10, 1928 and was raised in the North End where he worked at CP for many years.  His life priority was always his family.   He very much loved his hockey especially the Winnipeg Jets. 

He was one of the founding members of the Winnipeg Nomads Football Club from 1969 on, and also president of the North Winnipeg Charitable Club.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Health Science Centre, ward 2, and ward 6 Rehabilitation Unit, and the second floor, B of the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg.

A private interment will take place Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
