FLORENCE HELEN KUCHARSYN

(nee Moroz)

January 11th, 1943 – December 1st, 2011

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Florence Kucharsyn at Stonewall Health Centre. She succumbed to cancer on December 1st, 2011.

Florence was born in Russell, Manitoba to Bronislaw & Amelia Moroz. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Edward (in infancy) & John.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Harry, son Casey (Marilyn), grandsons, Austin & Mathias. She is also survived by two brothers; Charles & Fred (Doreen) both of Winnipeg & two sisters; Caroline (Tom) of Russell & Bernice of Roblin and numerous nieces and nephews. She had many friends who will dearly miss her as well.

Florence went to Londonderry Elementary School and Russell Collegiate. She came to Winnipeg in 1960, where she met Harry Kucharsyn in 1963. They lived in Winnipeg until 2008 when they moved to Teulon. Florence was a very beautiful, caring, loving and hard working person. Her grandsons were the apples of her eyes. She loved dancing, country music, taking her grandsons to movies and cooking. (She made the best ‘sex in the pan’!) Florence enjoyed family gatherings and shopping, especially for good deals. She made sure that her cupboards were never bare and her closets were always full.

Florence, we all love you and miss you so much. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

A Funeral Service for Florence will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stonewall Health Centre or to a charity of your choice.
