I have known Carl since forever, as we are both part of an extended family. In the beginning, we met yearly at family Christmas meals, but he was "older" and "cool", and I was just a kid. I don't think we really ever spoke to each other in those days. It was wine that eventually brought us closer together. My husband and I belonged to several wine clubs, and attended wine events in town and on trips to wine destinations. Carl and Dorothy usually had a booth at local events, and we enjoyed tasting Carl's products. We shared wine info and gave each other tips (and sips). I can't believe we have no photos of drinking wine with Carl and Dorothy! But, that was before cell phones...
Gayle and Dwayne, we send you our condolences and our love. We will miss you Carl.
