Obituary of DARLENE MARY HONDZ

Darlene Mary (Morrissette) Hondz

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our sister, Darlene (Morrissette) Hondz. After a brief battle with cancer, Darlene passed away on January 15, 2023 at St. Boniface Hospital.

Darlene was born in Winnipeg on July 10, 1957. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Serrna, April, Crystal and son Glen, grandchildren; Alex, Brendon, Ava, Ashton, Shayla, Jaden, Micayla, Brady, Eric and Mason, as well as her 2 great-grandchildren; Amara and Aylah. Darlene is also survived by her sisters; Marlene, Eileen and Cindy. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Andy, her mother Mary, brothers; Larry, Barry, James Lawrence, Clark, Maurice, Brian and Dale, her sisters Val and Rose.

In keeping with Darlene’s wishes there will be no formal service.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
