Obituary of BRIGITTE MARGARETE ADELINE WORM

July 27, 1939 – January 3, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023 at the age 83 after a long battle with cancer.

She leaves behind her two sons Frank (Diana), Ralph (Angele), grandchildren Christina and Ryan (Nicole), and her great-grandchildren Charlotte and Josephine.

Brigitte was born in Germany and moved to Manitoba in 1961 to join her husband Dietmar. She enjoyed travelling with her husband all over Canada and the U.S. in their motorhome until the time of his passing in 2008. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed working on her canvas knitting, playing bingo and her slot machines at the casino.

There will be a private interment for the family at Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cancer Care.
