As a sales representative Jim represented many different firms over the years. He got his start with Cassidy. He also represented Porter Cable Connect, Monsanto, Herman Miller, Canadian Office And School Furniture (COSF). His dream finally came through when he founded James Stuart Agencies! Although Jim travelled with his work he really looked forward to packing up the station wagon (of the year) to head for the cottage In West Hawk Lake or for a trip to Fargo, Minneapolis or anywhere Nana and Jim wanted to go with their bulldog at his side. Some of us had the wonderful opportunity of heading off into the sunset with them. You could also have found Jim and Nana on their special spot on the sand in Waikiki! Jim could also be found coaching the Nomads in Football or a team of future hockey stars. We were taught many things by our Uncle Jim - how to crush pennies on railroad tracks, his love of all animals, especially his English Bulldogs, the enjoyment of cottage life(at West Hawk Lake) and tobogganing at Uncle Jim's Hill. The last few years had been difficult for him, but he never complained and seemed to make the best out of a difficult situation. He will be missed, but not forgotten!
