JEAN KRUPA

Obituary of JEAN KRUPA

JEAN KRUPA 1930- 2011 With a courageous battle of cancer, it is with great sorrow for the family to announce the passing of Jean on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the age 81. Jean was born, on August 22, 1930 in Lake Audy, Manitoba and received her education at the Lake Audy School. She then moved to Winnipeg at the age of 16, working at a sewing factory and later enjoyed working at the Metropolitan Theatre. Jean was an extremely caring and loving person that was willing to help someone in need. For many years she took care of her mother Mary Krupa. She had a love for classical music and took lessons to play the violin. Having a love for the arts she enjoyed going to the ballet. Jean was predeceased by her father Michael, mother Mary (Wasylenko), brothers John, Bill, Mike, Dennis, infant Tom and sisters, Jessie, and Anne. She leaves to mourn, her sister Carol and brother Adam, sisters-in-law Pat Krupa and Olga Krupa and nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thanks to the Maples Personal Care Home for their care and compassion in her last few weeks. I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave when life is done. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat Michael Buyachok officiating. Interment at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean’s memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
