LIDIA OLIVEIRA

June 14, 1935 – October 25, 2022

Peacefully on Tuesday October 25, 2022 Lidia Oliveira passed away at the age of 87.

Lidia was predeceased by her loving husband Jose Oliveira of 43 years.

Lidia will be lovingly remembered by her four children Joe (Maria), Oriana (Humberto), Carlos (Peggy), Maria (Sam); 10 grandchildren Sandy (Victor), Andy (Ulgen), Kevin, Mike (Shay), Christopher (Lauren), Alex (Gabby), Dylan (Danielle), Ashley (Genevieve), Katlyn (Stephanie), Carissa (Darlin); 7 great-grandchildren Tancy, Mercedes, Micayla, Bentley, Dominick, Ethan, Sebastian.

Lidia leaves behind her brother Luis Carvalho and wife Maria of Toronto, Ontario; and sister Lubelia of Rhode Island; numerous nieces, nephews as well as extended family and many close friends.

Lidia enjoyed having dinners with her family who she loved dearly.

Family wish to thank all the Doctors and Nurses at Misericordia Hospital for their loving care as well as the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg.

On Monday October 31, 2022 at 7:00 p.m, Prayers will be said at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street, Winnipeg, followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. After the service, Interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
