Obituary of VINCENZO VERGHETTI
VINCENZO VERGHETTI
January 19, 1931-February 5, 2013
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father and Nonno, Vincenzo Verghetti.
Left to mourn in his memory are his children Paul (Terri), Frank (Andrea), Cathy (Jason),
Angela (Tony) and grandchildren Derek, Christina, Jennifer, Melissa and Caylee, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn are his brothers Gianno (Franca), Paolino (Sarina), and sisters Angelina and Franca of Calatafimi, Italy.
Vincenzo was predeceased by his loving wife Francesca, his mother Caterina Riccobonno and father Paolo Verghetti.
Vincenzo was born in Calatafimi, Italy January 19, 1931 where he lived, until he immigrated to Canada to begin a family of his own.
He worked as a furrier for numerous years at Neaman Furs and J.H. Hecht and Sons, until his retirement.
Some of dad's pastimes was hunting, fishing and camping with his family. His true personality was displayed with great craftsmanship in the garage; memories that will last a lifetime.
Special thanks go out to the palliative care unit at St. Boniface Hospital.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing starting 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church 510 River Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment to follow at Assumption Cemetery & Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave.

You will remain in our hearts forever
