Obituary of HELEN JEAN DUDAR

HELEN JEAN DUDAR (NEE TAYLOR)

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 at the age of 76 years. She will forever be missed by her husband Don Dudar of 51 years and children Kathy (Andy) Babiak, grandchildren Lucas and Alyson and Jeffery (Lynette) Dudar and grandchildren Cianna, Jayce, and Lance, and brother Doug (Diane) Taylor as well as many extended family and friends. Jean was predeceased by her parents Lesley and Ethel. She was born on October 29th, 1945 in Cheshire, England.

She will always be remembered for her love of people, poodles, fish, her sense of humor and strong character.

She enjoyed weekends at the lake with her friends, long conversations on the phone with family and friends; talking about anything and everything, a love of flowers, watching her children and grandchildren Ukrainian dancing. As well as her beloved poodles, most recently, Tommy. She also enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera Days of our Lives

We will always remember Jean’s love of life and cheerful mood. She would always want to tell you about the new events of the week, the latest news on all her grand kids, and could be a great resource for anything related to anything. Jean would have the news!!!

We were fortunate to have a family celebration a few days before her passing to celebrate the news about her future grand daughter

The family would like to thank the staff at HSC for their efforts in caring for Jean. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Savior’s Anglican Church, 690 Munroe Ave.

For those who will be unable to attend the event in person it will be live Streamed from St. Savior’s Anglican Church’s Facebook page and will also be available from their Youtube channel afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
