Obituary of GWENDOLYN DORIS LASKEY

Gwendolyn Doris Laskey passed away peacefully on September 27, 2022 at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 96 years.

She is predeceased by her parents and 5 sisters.

Gwendolyn is survived by her husband, Jack Laskey, children, Arlie Laskey, Roxanne (Michael) Piché; grandchildren, Jessica Piché, Sarah Piché; great-grandchildren, Matthew Youst.

Born in 1925 at Rossburn, youngest of 5 sisters. Gwen worked many years as a bookkeeper for her husband Jack in his business. Mum and dad loved traveling, cross country skiing, boating and were devoted in service for many years to Calvary Temple. Jack and Gwen celebrated their 73^rd wedding anniversary on September 10, 2022.

The family especially thanks the following: Concordia Hospital N3 east for their loving care for our mum.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Temple Buntain Chapel, 400 Hargrave Street with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens at 4477 Main Street.
