DAVID RAINVILLE

Obituary of DAVID MARCEL RAINVILLE

David grew up in the Southdale area and graduated in the year 2000 from Beliveau High School. He went on to continue his education at the University of Manitoba and graduated with his B.A. He then found his passion in the Insurance Industry. He purchased a home in Windsor Park for which he was extremely proud.

At a young age David practiced many activities.  He learned to play the keyboard but much preferred the guitar. He excelled at hockey and always wore the Number 10 on his Jersey.  His position was defense.   He also gave back to the community by being an assistant coach.  He enjoyed playing ball hockey with his friends. Dave had two favourite teams The Montreal Canadians and the Green Bay Packers.   He even wanted to paint his room Green Bay colors! He loved going rollerblading, biking and golfing.

David was a kind, gentle, caring man. He always loved to try new and different things. He loved fishing and camping but we would have starved had we waited for a fish to come home for supper!  He was happiest at the lake, starting bon fires to see how high he could get the flames, helping out family with projects and who can forget the many family get togethers! David was a humorous person and he loved to make people laugh.

Fun was also on the menu when gathering with his cousins, the Cooper’s. Christmas, birthdays, holidays or just because, together they jammed, laughed and enjoyed each others company and sometimes even  entertained the rest of us!

David loved cruise night and driving his Camaro, the vehicle of his dreams.  It was special time with his brother Mike cruising Portage avenue, looking at all the great cars and showcasing his own. David loved to spend time with Michael around a bon fire and indulging in great conversation filled with laughter and friendship.

About 5 years ago, David rescued a dog Griffin and we all fell in love! She is also mourning the loss of her protector.  Every time David would bring Griffin we would all hug the dog and then greet him. We will love and take great care of her in his memory.

David will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends.

We love you David.
