Obituary of MARY CATHERINE KLYMOCHKO
MARY CATHERINE KLYMOCHKO (NEE MOORE)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Mary Klymochko (nee Moore), on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at the age of 86.
Mom was born, raised, and lived her entire life in Transcona. Her greatest joy was her family as she loved and cared for them deeply. She retired after a lengthy career with Canadian National Railway (CNR). She was an active member in the community serving with Transcona Optimists and Winnipeg Parents Twins and Triplets Organization (W.P.T.T.O.) She loved bowling, bingo, knitting, and baking. She was very social and loved regularly getting together with the ladies.
Mary leaves to mourn her children, Ken (Brenda), Diana, Donna (Rob), son-in-law (Barrie), sister Roberta (Brian) and grandchildren Michael (Richard), Mike (Danielle), Kael (Tori), Markye, Skyler, Bailey; greatgrandchild Odin. She was predeceased by first husband Robert Chase, second husband Steve Klymochko; daughters Cathy, Debbie, son Robert, brother Ron, grandsons Bradley and Joshua.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. (Transcona) on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. with viewing 1/2 hour prior. Interment will follow at Transcona City Cemetery, returning for a light lunch and reception at Cropo Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba.
