ANNA STADNYK

August 12, 1922 – July 22, 2022

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anna Stadnyk at Middlechurch Home on July 22, 2022 at the age of 99.

Anna was predeceased by her mother Mary in 1972 and her father Harry in 1978 as well as her brothers Michael and Nick.

She is survived by her brother John as well as many cousins.

Anna was born in Sundown Manitoba August 12, 1922 and when she grew up moved to Chicago and worked at Marshall Fields for 30 years until she retired and returned to Winnipeg to live. Being the independent woman she was, she had no problem hopping on a bus and coming up to help her parents out whenever she got a chance to. Her house was always as neat as a pin and she loved being in the yard whether it was tending to her garden or mowing the lawn. She was always up for a good conversation and her warm smile will be sadly missed.

A graveside service will be held for Anna on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street, in the Garden of Everlasting Life section.
