Susie was born May 23, 1975 in Winnipeg, MB Canada. She worked for 18 years at the HSC in dietary services, where she cultivated many great friendships over the years.
In 1995, Susie travelled to the island of Sao Jorge, Azores where she met the love of her life Paulo. They were married on May 23, 1998 and were blessed to spend 24 years together, where they made many happy memories as a family.
Susie enjoyed the simple things in life, she loved to read her books, and being in the kitchen preparing meals and baking. She loved getting together with family to enjoy good food and conversation. Her sons Miguel and Nicolas were her greatest joy, she showered them with love and was their greatest support.
We have no words to express how grateful we are to all the family and friends who have been a comfort during these difficult days. Thank you for your love, prayers and support.
We would also like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors who cared for Susie at St. Boniface Hospital 6E Ward, as well as Cropo Funeral Chapel and Assumption Cemetery for their constant care and guidance.
