Obituary of MILORAD PERIC
MILORAD PERIC
1952-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the unfortunate passing of Milorad Peric on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 70 years of age. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Dusan and Ljubica Kljajic-Peric (Bundalo).
Milorad is remembered by his wife of 44 years, Milija, his 2 children Tatjana (Aleksandar) and Damir (Verdrana) and his 3 grandchildren, Aleksandra, Christina and Peter. He had a special bond with his family and cared for them deeply. He also leaves behind 8 siblings, 2 brothers and 6 sisters, along with their families.
Milorad was born and raised in Zegar, Croatia, where he spent 43 wonderful years. Following the start of a war in his home country, he dreamed of beginning a new life with his family in Canada. In 2000, this dream came true when he immigrated to Canada together with his family. He worked hard to provide for them and greatly valued their happiness. He was a strong believer in his faith and held a very special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially tennis and listening to music.
Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 6:00pm and a Funeral Service will be held at Saint Sava Serbian Church, 580 Talbot Avenue, on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.
