I was greatly saddened today when I learned of El's passing. I realize it's been many, many years but El was always one of my most favourite people at Chief Peguis. Sometimes, when she was mad, she had a bit of a gruff exterior but El had the purest heart of gold! If you needed an answer to something, she would tell it like it was without all the doublespeak. That's one of the things I just loved about her!!! She was one of the most honest people I have ever met in my life!!! I greatly admired her for this!!! She would tell you straight up and could also be quite tactful if she thought it might hurt your feelings. El was such a beautiful person, inside and out. I love the picture of her here!!! It just seems to capture her and looking at it brings back many emotions!!! I just adored el!!! She was the best thing about that whole school!!!! I will miss you, my dear friend. Rest in Peace.
