RADOSLAV BODIROGA
MAY 21, 1939 - JUNE 5, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the unfortunate passing of Radoslav Bodiroga on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 83 years of age. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, Senka, son Zeljko (Shannon), daughter Zeljka (Danny) and his four precious grandchildren, Melania, Giuliano, Danilo and Zackary.
Radoslav was born in Trebinje, former Yugoslavia in 1939. He was predeceased by his father Djoko, his mother Anica (nee Sulaver), brother Gojko and his nephew Milan. He also leaves his brothers Milan, Petar (Zorica), sister Dara Majkic (Mirko), Borka and their families.
He immigrated to Canada in 1974 and was employed in the Food & Restaurant industry. Upon arriving to Canada he resided with the Karaganis family and developed a lifelong friendship which he always cherished. He deeply adored his grandchildren, enjoyed guitar, cycling and fixing bicycles, listening to CBC Radio, enjoyed political discussions with his friends, loved watching Professional Tennis matches, and was always a strong believer in self-education.
Viewing will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 7:00p.m. Funeral will take place at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 580 Talbot Avenue on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 10:00a.m. with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.
