Obituary of VASYL GLIBKA
VASYL GLIBKA
Passed away suddenly with his family by his side on May 26, 2022 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 68 years.
Vasyl is lovingly remembered by his wife, Olesya, daughters Anna and Akseniia as well as grandchildren Diana, Valentyna and Olesia. He also leaves his brother Petro with his wife Maria, sister Natalia, niece Oksana and nephews Mykhailo and Marko.
He was predeceased by his parents, Victoria and Vasyl Glibka.
Vasyl was born in Ukraine in 1954 in a village Mamaivtsi near the city of Chernivtsi. He met the love of his life, Olesya, 50 years ago. They got married three years later and supported each other every step of the way. He was an exceptional man who loved his family with his all heart. Vasyl was proud to serve in the Ukrainian military for over 25 years. He moved to Winnipeg in 2006 and owned a Euro Mechanical company, fast and friendly heating and cooling services in Winnipeg. Vasyl was well known for being friendly and positive. Everyone who knew him will miss his cheerful attitude and bright smile.

Prayers will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 820 Burrows Ave. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral.
