Obituary of VERONICA (VERA) KRASNOV

Veronica (Vera) Krasnov

August 16, 1925 – May 20, 2022

On May 20, 2022, Veronica Krasnov, beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away at the age of 96.

Vera will be missed by her son Fedor Jr, daughter-in-law Tamara, her granddaughter Katherine, and everyone who knew her.

Vera was born in Rostov-na-Donu, Russia. Vera had two brothers and two sisters. Vera came to Canada in 1951 then she met her husband, Fedor Sr Krasnov, in 1958.

Vera was a bright and positive person, she made everyone smile and loved to divulge in conversation with each person she met. Vera spent her life helping and spending time with her family. Vera regularly attended Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface for making Vera comfortable in her last days.
