Obituary of William Edward James Drew
William (Bill) E.J. Drew
October 26 1951 to April 12 2022
Bill was born and raised in St. Vital, Winnipeg. Bill was in the trucking industry for more than 50 years. He started with a minivan and worked his way up to driving a tractor trailer on long hauls to Thompson, Manitoba, and northern Ontario.
Bill also had a great love for old cars, and always had three or four he was working on in the back yard. Bill was also a highly trained in Martial Arts and had long memberships at local clubs. He taught himself to do Tai Chi Sword Form, first with his right hand, and then with his left.
Bill was predeceased by his loving mother Catherine, and father William Drew.
He is greatly mourned by Susan Noblet, his loving wife of 33 years, his sister Muriel Rougeau (Rennie), nephews Kyle, Cory (Sharlene) great-niece and great-nephew Shayla and Rylan.
Sister Shirley Hunter, nieces Dana (Brad), Tracy Hunter and great-niece Ashley.
Stepdaughter Beverly Clive (Dave), grand-daughter Desiree (Brandon) great-grandson Odin, and grand-son Dylan.
Bill passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, after a brief illness.
As per Bill's wishes, he has been cremated, and there will be no funeral services.
