ALEXINA “ZINA” BISSCHOP

April 10, 1959 – February 18, 2022

With great sadness we announce the passing of Zina; wife, mother, nana, sister and aunty. Zina passed away peacefully at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 18, 2022, with her husband and sister by her side.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Tim, daughter Cara-Mia Hodgins, son Derek Hodgins, stepson Gregory Bisschop, step-daughter Nicole Bisschop, 1 sister, 4 sisters-in-law, 7 brothers, 1 brother-in-law, grandchildren Ethan, Mingo and Kesh-Ann Mingo, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Zina was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking and loved her crosswords, gardening and the outdoors.

A service will be held in her honour at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, on March 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., a second service will be held in Kenora, Ontario at a later date.
