NOLASCO CRUZ JR.
Peacefully, with family by his side, Nolasco passed on January 10, 2022, at Health Sciences Centre, MICU, at the age of 60.
He was predeceased by his father, Nolasco Cruz Sr., mother Emilia Cruz and older sister, Carmelita Cruz Quijano.
Nolasco is lovingly remembered by his brothers Danilo Cruz, Jesus Cruz, Jimmy Cruz, sisters Nieves de Leon, Dolly Cruz, Elvira Santos, Elizabeth Cruz, Alice Cruz, and Gina Rodriguez. Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family in Canada, South Carolina, USA, and the Philippines.
Nolasco was born and raised in San Dionisio, Paranaque City, Philippines. He immigrated to Canada along with his parents and other siblings in February of 1983. He worked at Palliser for many years. He loved fishing, listening to music, playing guitar, and hanging out with his friends and family.
The family would especially like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Health Sciences Centre in the MICU department.
A visitation will take place on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A celebration of life to follow at 7:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Victor Cuarto.
