Obituary of LINDA DIANE FIRMAN
Linda Diane Firman (Nee Webb)
February 25, 1951- December 12, 2021
With family by her side, Linda passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021.
Linda was predeceased by her mother Marjorie “Pat” Webb (nee Washington) and her father George Felix Webb. Linda is survived by, her loving husband of 40 years, Ted. Her children Angela (Curtis), Tammie (Gene), David (Anna-Marie) and Jasmine, as well as her brother Bob (Marie), sister Lois (Charlie), as well as uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. She also had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda was born in Brandon, Manitoba, but has lived in Winnipeg since her teenage years.
Linda and Ted met each other during their time at Western Smallware in 1979 where their relationship blossomed leading to marriage in 1981.
Career changes led her to many years at the Manitoba Association of Urban Municipality, as well as the United Church of Canada office where she eventually retired from. She met many great people and lifelong friends along her career path.
Linda dearly loved her gatherings with families and friends. She was the most amazing hostess and her love for them, as well as her prepping and cooking shone brightly at these events.
Linda really enjoyed music, singing and dancing. During her quieter times, could often be found enjoying a good book or putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
She was a very intelligent woman which showed through her work and her uncanny ability to remember past details, events, birthdays and anniversaries.
Those who knew Linda well, knew she was an extremely kind, generous and loving person. Her loving heart was always looking to make sure that those around her were taken care of, while never asking anything in return.
We love you, miss you and will cherish your memories now and forever!
