Jay was born in Winnipeg MB on January 8th 1970. He worked for Motorcoach Industries for 30 years as a welder. Jay always spoke highly of the crew he worked with, where he met countless great friends over the years.

Jay was also a Harley enthusiast and enjoyed nothing more than hitting the open road on sunny summer days with good buddies.

He also loved to travel to far off sunny places in the winter. Jamaica, Cuba, Mexico, and if course his destination wedding in Dominican Republic.

Always the life of the party and the " host with the most", family and friends were always welcome to countless redneck pool parties, hog roasts and Halloween costume parties.

Jay will always be remembered with a smile on his face, a cold beer in his hand, and a good story to share. He was truly loved by everyone.

As per Jason's request no funeral or formal service will take place. Instead a celebration of his life will occur at a later date.

Flowers are gratefully declined, however donations can be made in Jason's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society, where Jay has adopted and saved many homeless community kitties throughout his lifetime.
