LUKE BODEK
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our beloved son and father, Luke Bodek on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the age of 37.
Luke is survived by his parents, Zofia and Julian Bodek, children Alexia (14), Julian (12) and Leah (7) and their mother, Valerie Bodek. Also left to mourn his passing is his grandmother Janina Guszkiewicz, cousin Danie Guszkiewicz and extended family in Poland and the United States.
Our family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg for the care and comfort they were able to provide.
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to express sympathy, the family will graciously accept donations for Luke’s children’s education.
Family and friends are welcomed to come say their quiet goodbyes to Luke at a viewing on November 29, 2021 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
Prayers will be held by invitation only beginning at 7:00 PM. Cropo livestreaming available starting 6:45 p.m. by clicking on the livestream link next to Luke's obituary write up.
Following prayers, a maximum of 25 people will be permitted inside the building at one time starting at 7:30 PM. A queue will be formed if needed. For those wishing to participate but unable to attend in person, a live stream will be offered at the Cropo website at the obituary page.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately at Holy Ghost Church at 10:00 AM on November 30, 2021. Due to difficult circumstances regarding limited capacity, a live stream of the Mass is available online at:
