Nadia,
My belated condolences on Grant's passing. He was always such a positive and pleasant person. I still hold fond memories of the pleasant dinner we had at the Winnipeg South slo-pitch banquet in 2018. But most of all, the excitement I shared with Grant, when we won the World Senior Softball Championship in Las Vegas in 2004. He was a great team player.
Mavis joins me in sharing your grief at this sad time.

Sending my deepest sympathy to your family at this difficult time. I have fond memories of times spent with Grant as we were growing up. We shared a love of sports and I remember enjoying school field days with him. I found this photo of our class from Salisbury School in 1947 (Grant is 4th from the left in the back row). Grant was truly a nice guy!
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of Grant.

It was with great sadness that I read that Grant Nerbas had passed away. My father, Daniel Gilmore worked in the Law Department at CN with Grant for many years. He was a true gentleman who will be dearly missed. We also got to know Nadia as she taught in the then St. Vital School division. They were a wonderful couple who I think of often. Condolences to Nadia and the girls and their families.

I was very sorry to learn the sad news of Grant's death. My late father, Jack Perrin, in 1979 purchased The Fort Garry Hotel and surrounding lands from CN. We had extensive dealings with Grant over many years and came to know him well. His professionalism and kindness were always so very much appreciated. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family, friends and colleagues in your bereavement.
Yours sincerely,
John D. Perrin

My deepest condolences to the Nerbas family. I had many dealings with Grant during the time when the statutory grain rates were being replaced by the Western Grain Transportation Act. He was very helpful and with his quick wit and sense of humour, was a pleasure to work with.
