Obituary of MICHAEL SAWIAK

MICHAEL SAWIAK On December 25, 2012 at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Michael passed away at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his daughter Genia of Winnipeg, and 2 sisters Orysia and Luba in Ukraine as well as extended family in Canada, U.S.A and Ukraine. He was predeceased by his wife Olga, brother Nestor and sister Ducia. He was a long time employee of Winnipeg Old Country Sausage and enjoyed, travelling, fishing, dancing and gardening in his leisure time. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Rosary/Viewing will take place at church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
