Obituary of ANNA MARY SVEINSON

MARY SVEINSON (NEE BAWOLAK)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Mary passed away in her 80^th year at Middlechurch Home on September 3, 2021.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Sveinson Sr., her parents, her sister Helen Danyluk, brother-in-law Mike, her niece SylviaLedrew, her mother-in-law Mary Sveinson and father-in-law August Sveinson, brothers-in-law John and Roy Sveinson, sisters-in-law Mary Sveinson (Beaudry) and Miki Sveinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Mary-Lynn and son Cecil, grandchildren Glenn, Matthew and Sandra and great-grandchildren Morgana, Keegan, Olivia and Theodore as well as many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and friends.

Mary was born in Poland  on June 8, 1941 and migrated to Canada at the age of 8 with her mother Anna Bawolak and sister Helen. Mary began working at an early age, beginning in sewing factories and later for the Manitoba Telephone System for 35 years until she retired. She married Cecil Sveinson Sr. July 6, 1960 in Grahamdale, MB.

Mary was loved by all who knew her. She was always laughing and joking. She spent the last 12 years of her life in Middlechurch Home. We are so grateful to them for their tender loving care. The staff loved mom and will surely miss her.

In keeping with her wishes Mary will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband in Spearhill Cemetery at a small family ceremony.
