Obituary of HERVELINE CALVEZ

Peacefully in the early hours of January 2, Herveline passed away. Herveline was predeceased by her husband Francois as well as her son André. She was also predeceased by her parents Paul and Marie Buors, her brothers Albert, Louis, Jules, John and her sisters Suzanne and Agnes. Herveline is survived by her sons Yvon (Marielle) and Albert (Shirley), her daughters Colette (Gerry) and Gisele (John) as well as granddaughters Lisa, Cindy, Vicki, Sheri, grandson Shane, great granddaughters Kaelah, Jasmine, Danika, Hayley, Regan, Kate and great grandsons Shamus, Aidan and Brayden. She is also survived by her sister Elise. Herveline's life extended in various areas. She was a devoted, loving and selfless mother, a hard-working and tireless employee until she decided to retire at the age of 77, a caring aunt whose home was always open to extended family needing a place to stay in the city or anyone who wished to drop in for a visit or a meal. She loved receiving visitors. She was always wanting to please. Her favorite passtime was knitting and shopping came in a close second. Last year, Herveline left her home of many years to move to Action Marguerite for specialized care. The family wishes to extend our very special thanks to the staff of 3DE, Action Marguerite for their devoted and loving care of our mother and Louise for all the many little things you did for our mother when we couldn't be there as well as Michelle who helped us in the final days. Mass celebrating Herveline's life will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church, 85 Kirbridge Drive (at Pembina). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Action Marguerite at 185 rue Despins, St. Boniface.
