KELLY CARRIERE

It is with great sadness the family of Kelly Carrière announces his passing on July 28, 2021, at the age of 58 after a short battle with cancer.

Kelly was born January 1, 1963 in St. Laurent, MB, to father George Carrière and mother Esther Carrière. He grew up in a large loving family with 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Kelly will forever be remembered by his wife, Arliss Mains; daughters, Cheryl (Joel), Shauna (Ben), Cindi (Braden), Samantha (Tyler); son Derek (Haley); grandsons Lucas, Maxwell, Atlas; and granddaughter Kennedy.

Kelly is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren; as well as his ever-loving sisters, Holly, Darlene, Lena, Sandra; brothers, Wayne, Ron, and Larry; mother-in-law Annette; best friends Bullet and Dale; and numerous friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. His parents and his brother Ken precede him in death.

Kelly met Arliss, the love of his life, when he was 22 years old. They have been inseparable for 36 years while they raised their 5 beautiful children. Kelly loved playing with his grandchildren and adored his cats Theo, Jeffrey and Jack. Kelly was a talented mechanic and enjoyed spending his time fixing cars in his garage with the company of good friends and good tunes.

A celebration of life will be held for Kelly at the St. Laurent Recreation Centre at 2:00 p.m. on August 14, 2021. The family would like to send thanks to all the staff, nurses and doctors at Riverview Health Centre where donations can be made in Kelly’s honour.

Dad, you will be forever missed and not forgotten.
