BEVERLEY KATHLEEN FITZGERALD

March 19, 1950 – July 26, 2021

Beverley passed away suddenly, on July 26, 2021 at the Grace Hospital.

Beverley was predeceased by her parents: Minnie and James Fitzgerald; brothers Maurice and Mark Fitzgerald; son-in-law Derek, and partner Archie Watt.

Beverley is survived by siblings Pam (Tony), Paul (“Bert”), Marsha; and mom’s special friend Louie; grandchildren Bruce (Nicole), Marrissa, Amy, Brandon and Christine; great-grandchildren Alvha, Brysen and Chole.  She also leaves her brothers Ken and Brian; Sisters Edna, Brenda, Sandra, Faith, Sharon and Gwen in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.  Mom will be sadly missed by many family and friends.

One of Beverley’s favourite past-time was she enjoyed playing Bingo, and just being outdoors. But her favourite past-time was spending time with her family; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Beverley took joy in gospel/church music, with two of her favourite songs being “One More Valley” and “If There’s a Phone in Heaven”.

Beverley’s life achievements included preparing her children, grandchildren and others in life with schooling, giving them life direction which made a difference in their lives, and in the lives of many others as well.

The family thanks everyone for their care and support throughout this difficult time.

Mom will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her family, and her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, the day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
