Obituary of CORY KELLY JOSEPH BRELAND

CORY KELLY JOSEPH BRELAND

March 12, 1973 - June 11, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Cory Kelly Joseph Breland on June 11, 2021.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Joseph and Mabel Breland. His uncle Darryl Breland. His aunties Dale Graves and Dorothy Fraser.

Cory leaves to mourn his mother Darlene Hunter (Terry). His brothers Jody (Tamara);

John (Julie). His sister Punky (Gary) and many other siblings. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Cory was born on March 12, 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was raised in Crane River with his grandparents Joe and Mabel. Cory loved playing outdoors, swimming, riding ski doos, and playing cards. He liked to watch movies, then mimic them and make everyone laugh.

Cory was very well liked and made friends no matter where he went. When visiting with his friends or his brothers he enjoyed reminiscing about fun times that would make him laugh. No matter what Cory was going through he was always happy and never had a negative thing to say about anyone. He helped anyone in need and always looked forward to holidays spent with his brother and family for turkey dinners. Cory appreciated the little things in life and loved spending time with his nephew Isaiah building train sets, and playing games. He also enjoyed watching Hockey. Cory will be missed greatly by his family and all who knew him and was blessed to call him a friend.

Due to covid restrictions a private family viewing will be held on Saturday June 19, 2021. (Contact family for details)

Cremation will take place and interment will follow at a later date in Cayer, Manitoba

Fill Not Your Hearts

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow.

Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles. I’ve only gone to rest a while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.

So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am but as I used to be. Because, I will remember you all and look on with a smile.

Understand in your hearts, I’ve only gone to rest awhile.

As long as I have the love of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
