ALLAN ROBERT BISHOP

December 16, 1959- June 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Robert Bishop, “Bob” announces his passing after a brief illness, on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at the age of 61 years. Allan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Tammi and his children, Kristin and Braedi (Desirae) and his first grandson Beckett. He will also be remembered by his sister Pat (Doug), and many in laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends. Allan was predeceased by his father Allan, mother Lillian and brother Kenneth.

Allan was born in Thunder Bay and moved to Winnipeg as a young child. He grew up watching his father race stock cars and grew a love for racing as well. Allan also had a love for driving trucks, and followed his father in that profession, driving for over 20 years. He was an avid lover of all Winnipeg sports, which he would rarely miss a game on TV, and never missed an opportunity to have a good laugh or tell a funny joke. He would definitely be turning up the car radio when AC/DC came on as one of his favorites, and more recently in the last couple years got to enjoy some time visiting his sister out in Mesa for a nice vacation which he loved very much.

A celebration of life will happen at a later date with close family and friends.
