Obituary of MARION POTTER

MARION POTTER Marion Potter passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the age of 84 years. A long-time resident on Melbourne Avenue, East Kildonan, Marion spent the last 8 years of her life in Central Park Lodge Parkview Place, coping with Alzheimer’s Disease. Marion was predeceased by her father, Alexander Rachel in 1928, her step-father, Andrew Potter in 1974, and her mother, Iva Potter (nee Rawdon) in 1979. Marion had two sisters: Mrs. John Roberts (Norma) of Rosedale, B.C. and Mrs. C. Freestone (Dorothy) of Regina. Born on June 17, 1928, just 5 months after her father died, Marion was very close to her mother. When her mother re-married, Marion took her step-father’s name.
