Obituary of ASHLEIGH ELIZABETH MARY PREVOST
ASHLEIGH ELIZABETH MARY PREVOST
It is with broken hearts and intense sadness we announce the passing of our precious daughter, sister, mother, aunt and wife, Ashleigh Prevost, on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the age of 33.
Ashleigh was born in Winnipeg on September 20, 1987. She is survived by her son Spencer Lyss, her parents, Lucy Prevost and Ron Prevost, brothers, Ryan Prevost and Myles Prevost, stepmother Darlene Prevost, niece Julissa Prevost and nephew Ryan Prevost, the father of her son Riley Lyss, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends.
Ashleigh was the type of person who would help anyone in need without hesitation. Her caring nature was ever present. Following in her mother's footsteps to enter nursing as a vocation, Ashleigh trained for her Baccalaureate of Nursing degree. The love of her life was her amazing son Spencer. They were the best of buds, and Ashleigh would move heaven and earth for him if needed. She cherished her son with all of her heart. Family was paramount to Ashleigh, and she always expressed her love for those closest to her. She was a very expressive woman who positively excelled at dance, having trained for many years with the Royal Dance Conservatory in Winnipeg. Her favourite personal activity, outside of spending time with her son and family, was wrapping up with a good book, and was extremely well read. She was a highly respected and valued employee of several dental offices in the city, and her infectious smile and personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her family, whose lives will never be the same without her.
