Obituary of IRENA HELENA JANCZURA

 Irena Helena Janczura

March 1, 1935 – April 10, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Irena Janczura announces her peaceful passing.  Born on March 1, 1935 in Poland, she passed on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the age of 86 years, at Riverview Health Center.

Irena will be lovingly remembered by her children Anna (Adam) and Robert (Boguslawa), and grandchildren Matthew, Amanda, Ania (Peter) and Kasia (Riyadh) and great grandson Ashraf, along with her extended family and friends.

Originally from Poland, Irena made her way to Winnipeg to join her daughter in November of 1991.  Irena was a hard-working person.  She was always known for her dedication to her family and friends, and for the bright smile she wore wherever she went.

The family would like to thank the staff of Riverview, unit B2, for allowing them to stay with her during her last days.

Mom will be forever deeply missed.

A Private Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Rosary half hour prior. Burial will take place in Poland once travel permits.
