Obituary of JOSÉ MARQUES NETO

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Jose Marques Neto. He passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021 at home, at the age of 83 years. 

Jose will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ricardina, daughter Gina, son Jaime, daughter-in-law Natalie and grandchildren Eva and Gabriel.

Born in Liteiros, Portugal he immigrated to Canada in 1963 and worked tirelessly to build a better life. Jose was a caring, loving husband and father with an exceptional dedication to his family. He always had a great love of life and was happiest surrounded by family and friends, sharing a glass of wine, watching Sporting, eating clams in Nazaré. He was beloved by many and will always be kept close in our hearts.

A Prayer Vigil will be held on March 23, 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel and Funeral Liturgy at St. Anthony of Padua Church on March 24, 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID restrictions, only invited family and friends will be able to attend. Interment funeral will take place in Portugal.
