Ben was pre-deceased by his parents: Peter Funk and Tina Bergen.

He is survived by his siblings: Nela (Abe) Giesbrecht, John (Marie) Funk, Maria (John) Enns, Jacob (Wendy) Funk, Abraham (Norene) Funk, Kelly (Dennis) King and Elvira Funk.

Ben was a free spirit and had a lovely soul.  He was very independent and was very loved by his family.

Family will have a small service in the summer.
