Obituary of WLADYSLAW KARHUT

WLADYSLAW KARHUT With great sadness, we the family announce the passing of Wladyslaw Karhut on November 24, 2011 at the age of 82. Wladyslaw was born on November 9, 1929 in Tuchla, Poland. Throughout his life in Poland he worked as a farmer and a tailor. He then joined his children in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1991. He continued his tailoring job and also cared for his grandchildren as their caregiver. Remaining to forever cherish his warm and loving memories are his children; Miroslav (Barbara), Irena, Jan, Slawomir, Anna (Peter) and Bogdan (Grazyna); his loving 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his two brothers, three sisters, extended family throughout Canada, Poland and England. Special thanks to Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate, Pastoral Care, Metropolitan Michael Bzdel, Dr. Babick, and most of all the 5th floor staff of Holy Family Home. Also a special heartwarming thanks to Rev. Archdeacon Stefan Tyrawski- for his prayers and care each week. Wladyslaw now joins the bright heavens with his beloved wife, Olga; daughter Maria; parents and brothers. He will be dearly missed. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, November 27 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, November 28 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Vichnaya Pam’yat
