Obituary of MARIA NATALIA DOS SANTOS CAVALHEIRO VALENTE

NATALIA VALENTE

April 1, 1938 - December 25, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother Natalia Valente on December 25, 2020 at Grace Hospital at the age of 82.  

Natalia leaves behind her son Filipe (Janet), grandson Dawson, her daughter Cristina, her grandson Sebastian, her sister Jacinta, her brothers Nuno and Carlos and many nieces and nephews.  

She is predeceased by her husband Joao Valente, her brothers Martinho, Armando and Ernesto.

 Natalia was born in a small town in Portugal called Cabeco do Soudo, she worked at a college in Lisbon before immigrating to Canada in 1975.  

Natalia loved gardening; she spent many hours outside in the summer doing yard work.  The neighbours loved walking by her garden to admire the different flowers she had.  

Because of COVID viewing will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main St on Thursday January 7, 2021 between 5-7pm.  

Funeral will be at Immaculate Conception Parish but for immediate family only at 181 Austin St. at 10:00am on January 8,2021.
