RICHARD PETER FLESS
Known as Peter by close family and friends
October 28, 1959 - October 5, 2020
Peter passed away very suddenly in his home on October 5, 2020 at the age of 60.
Left to cherish his memory are Silke and John, Nick, Alicia and Anna, Joseph, Yeori, Jack and Lily Tropak. Michael, Patti and Mike Fless, also extended family in BC., Chicago, Nevada and a few close friends.
He was predeased by his parents Richard & Renate Fless and most recently by his nephew Kevin Fless and his beloved dog Micky.
Peter was a kind and gentle soul, who loved his family. He loved listening to music, watching TV and movies, loved working in the yard, and taking care of his car, he must have had the shiniest car in Winnipeg. He shared many years of companionship with his dog Micky sharing treats and watching movies together.
Peter was retired, he was employed at Vincent Massey Collegiate for a few years and then became Head Custodian at Oakenwald School during his 37 years with the Pembina Trails School Division.
He was very fond of all the children and they of him. He was highly thought of by the teachers and they regularly acknowledged him for the extra things he did for them.
Many thanks to Peter's neighbors, Ed & Chrissy, Duane and close friend Rick for befriending him and always watching out for him. We know you will miss him dearly.
Thank you to Pastor Don Engel, again for helping our family.
Thank you to Cropo Funeral Chapel for their compassion and kindness.
For Peter's love of children, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation in memory of him.
REST IN PEACE PETER, We love you and will miss you forever.
