I loved when Uncle Harry came to Saskatchewan for a visit. It was always a treat to visit with him and have him tell us what was happening in Winnipeg and his family. He never came empty handed. He always brought his mom a new dress. That was always so special to Baba.
I was lucky to have played musical instruments, sing with uncle Harry at weddings, reunions, or just any day.
I was also fortunate to have visited uncle Harry in Winnipeg several times.. He always had bacon cooking on the stove. rather than using a spatula, he would poke the bacon with a fork. Just like my dad(John). Must run in the family! He told me that he took a package of bacon whenever he travelled. His words were " the package is tough so will never leak, will never spoil, cook it anywhere anytime, good source of protein, and everybody loves bacon"
Uncle Harry is now in heaven with his siblings and parents where I am sure there would be a party to be had filled with music.
My condolences to you Carole and your family. God bless all

Our deepest condolences to you, Carole, and to your family. Hard to believe that Uncle Harry is gone. Whenever he came to visit family in Saskatchewan, he was so full of life and laughter. He often phoned my mom, Pauline, and she enjoyed those calls very much. She was often lonely and so a call from her brother, Harry, was so much appreciated. And thus we appreciated it as well. He was always interested in family comings and goings. It would surprise me when I would sometimes answer Mom’s phone and he knew who I was...would ask about my family and my husband, Mick. The two shared the inventing interest. So sorry to hear that he was not well but now they are all together....playing musical instruments, singing, and telling stories. Take care, Carole. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest In Peace, Uncle Harry.....say hello to everyone. We love you.

Growing up we never got to see Uncle Harry a great deal. But when there was a family get together, a wedding or other, Uncle Harry would often travel west and spend a few days catching up with his brothers and sisters. Being his visits were typically short and busy, I never really got to know Uncle Harry or much about him. However, I was fortunate to spend some time and get to know Uncle Harry more later in life. I had the opportunity to visit with Uncle Harry at his home on several occasions while visiting my wife’s family in Winnipeg. I admired his memory even as he was aging. I would call him and without even introducing myself, he immediately would say “oh, this is Greg. “ He would invite me over, would brew a pot of coffee or two in his stainless steel percolator, and would share memories of growing up on the family farm with his brothers and sisters near Bruno. He was always interested in what was happening “back home”; I don’t think his farm roots ever left him. He would talk of his career especially his time at VIA, and was extremely proud of Carole and his grandchildren. I will always remember my last visit with him in Winnipeg. Even though it was early afternoon, Uncle Harry wanted eggs and bacon...so off we went to the Salisbury Restaurant and both enjoyed some early afternoon eggs and bacon.
Thanks for the memories Uncle Harry. Our condolences to Carole and family.

We will remember Uncle Harry as a beloved brother of our mother, Pauline Komarnicki. We did not meet with Uncle Harry often, but when he came to Saskatchewan to visit, the days were filled with visiting, laughter and recollections of a large family growing up on the farm. Uncle Harry shared a birthday with my brother, John......January 12 and he will always be remembered in our family. When he visited, he truly seemed genuinely interested in our lives and we were all fascinated by him as children.

And thus, ends a legacy. The last surviving child of Peter and Katherine Indzeoski. What an interesting, productive, memorable life he lived. Although we did not see much of Uncle Harry, he left many lasting impressions with us from the times that he was here. I treasure the history he wrote to contribute to the 'Indzeoski' family book. Also remember him as being both a collector, and an inventor. Our condolences to your family. Treasure the memories, and remember the good times. We will be thinking of Uncle Harry and remembering him with love. Darlyne (nee Indzeoski) and Al McKenzie
