PAMELA ANN ROUTLEY It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Pamm Routley, 69, of Winnipeg, in her home. Pamm was predeceased by her husband Mel Williams, her son-in-law Steve Williams and her father Dr. Keith Routley. She is survived by her mother Beverley Routley, sisters Barb Brako (Ryan), Marian Peters (Gord), brothers Mark Routley (Wilma), Brent Routley and Paul Routley, step children Angie Williams (Jeff), April Williams (Chris), great grandchildren Kensie and Greyson, and several beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. As a child, Pamm loved enjoying the family cottage on Lake of the Woods, and later continued with this tradition spending time with her husband on Granite Lake. She attended catholic schools in Winnipeg, including St. John Brebeuf and later at St. Mary’s Academy. She worked as an assessor at the City of Winnipeg, from which she retired after a fulfilling career. Curling with the team of friends in the Metro Curling League where the Civic Employees Bonspiel was a highlight. Between Lake of the Woods, Granite Lake, the schools she attended and her job at the City, Pamm met many lifelong friends that she cherished and loved to spend time with over the years. In fact, these friends are holding separate vigils for her to celebrate her life. She loved to spend time with her family, especially spoiling her many nieces, nephews and more recently great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephews. When Pamm and Mel retired, they were proud “Winter Texans” spending half the year in sunny Weslaco, Texas. They spent many enjoyable years in Texas, and the couple made excellent friendships in their park. Pamm loved to golf and spend time by the pool, while Mel would be out shopping for their next gourmet meal. At this time there will not be a funeral due to the current pandemic situation.
