Obituary of JAMES BRADLEY PORTH

Tragically on Wednesday July 29, 2020, we lost our spouse and father, James Bradley Porth. James leaves to mourn, his spouse Ashley and their 2 sons, Lliam and Kaydan and their daughter Kyley, his 2 older children Serena and Bradley, his mother Darlene, his sister Pam (Chris) and their children Nate and Raena, his half siblings Jonas (Sabrina), Shanda and Kristina and their families, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his best friend and brother Kelvin, Dad Jackie, stepdad Pete, Grandparents Arthur and Phyllis Roche, Grandparents Jack & Evelyn Porth, his friend Mike and numerous other relatives. James was born on September 17, 1969 in Gimli, Manitoba. He grew up in Riverton until age 15 when the family moved to Winnipeg. He had numerous friends from the Interlake. James was a wonderful spouse and father. He loved Ashley and they were a united front for their kids. He loved his children unconditionally and always made time for them, he always made them feel special and spent time doing things with them, from going on walks and bike rides, to taking them to parks, playing hockey with the kids or just playing in the yard with them. James loved to build bikes, from motor bikes to regular bikes. He always had a bike for himself, Ashley and all the kids. He would buy different bikes and rebuild them to what he wanted. James loved listening to music, especially rap and his favourite artist was Tupac. James had a special bond with his Mom, they would talk almost daily and spent a lot of time together. James felt like a piece of him was missing since his brother Kelvin’s death, they shared the same birthday but were two years apart and were best friends. James had numerous jobs in his life from working as a plumbers’ apprentice, working at SuperLube, painting and doing odd jobs. Ashley and the kids are going to miss him so much; he was always there for them. His mom Darlene has lost both sons now and will miss James everyday.
